Coordinating Framing and Drywall in a Tenant Improvement
Define the Scope Before Work Starts
Commercial interior projects need a clear division of responsibilities between the framing, service installation and drywall teams. Drawings should identify partition layouts, openings, required assemblies and finishing expectations. Confirm unresolved details with the project designer before pricing or construction.
Coordinate the Handoffs
Agree who supplies framing, backing, board and finishing materials, and who is responsible for access, protection and waste removal. Identify which services need to be installed or inspected before walls are closed. Keep a written record of agreed changes and their effect on cost and schedule.
Compare Complete Proposals
Ask bidders to state quantities, assumptions, exclusions, allowances and the required finish. A price comparison is meaningful only when the work being priced is comparable. Confirm each firm's relevant experience, insurance, service area and availability directly.
Discuss Your Project
Send the site address, drawings, scope and target schedule to Build@buildershaus.com. A project enquiry does not confirm contractor availability or establish an affiliation between separate companies.
